A single vineyard Amarone from the Il Bosco vineyard. Attractive cedary notes and savoury/meaty character on nose with dried black fruit, liquorice, vanilla bean and cigar box. Full bodied and firmly structured with fantastic intensity and extremely persistent finish. Concentrated and regal, with potential to continue developing over the next 10 years+. (90)

2007 ‘Bosan’ Amarone della Valpolicella DOC Classico Riserva $99.95

A single vineyard Amarone from the Bosan vineyard. Deep brick colour with a nose of exotic sandalwood, frankincense, black berries, black cherry, cassis, tobacco and leather. Full bodied and still surprisingly youthful, with firm tannins and teases of tertiary character. Still has a long life ahead and will continue to develop over the long-term. Beautifully crafted and layered, this is an intellectual wine that deserves to be savoured. (92)
