2015 Sauvignon Blanc, Greywacke, Marlborough, New Zealand 13.5% $24.95 (164228)
Forget what you know about Sauvignon Blanc. This bottle will open you up to a seriously stylish, grown-up version, with vibrant passion fruit, lemon peel, lime leaf, gooseberry preserves and elderflower. Zesty with crunchy acidity, lean bodied and elegant structure. Full of energy and brilliance, with superb depth and interesting savour edge that provides notable complexity. Released in vintages Saturday, May 13, 2017. (89)

2013 'Cuvée Renaissance' Corbières AOP, Château de Fontenelles, Languedoc-Roussillon, France 14% $19.95 (148692)
A stunning blend of 55% Syrah, 25% Grenache and 20% old vines Carignan and Mourvèdre. Generous and juicy on the nose with sumptuous blackberry, black currant, stewed black cherry, raspberry preserves, liquorice and a sprinkling of sweet spices and vanilla bean. Full and smooth with a plush texture and substantial concentration. Flavourful and supple, this would work perfectly with anything off the bbq. Released in vintages Saturday, May 13, 2017 . (88)
